Floating Pond Plants
Floating pond plants will help clear murky water. They continuously absorb nitrates and phosphates in the water which are the leading nutrients that promote algae growth. The roots on floating plants also make great spawning media for both fish and frogs. The only drawbacks for these plants is that they are invasive. In order to keep them out of the skimmer box you can quarantine these plants with fishing line fastened accross the pond or around the plant. Did I mention they will clear up your water?
